The
Suffolk Way
The Suffolk Way is a 109 mile walk through rural Suffolk beginning at Flatford through Constable country via the Box Valley in the Dedham Vale leading to Lavenham. Travelling Northeast you cross the remote interior of Suffolk with its open wheat and beet landscape and distinctive villages. This area is known as High Suffolk. This part of the Suffolk Way between Helmingham and Kittle's Corner a 4 mile stretch passes in front of and beside Shrubbery Farmhouse. After Halesworth the Way leads east over sandland beside the River Blyth to the sea at Walberswick turning north along Suffolk's Heritage Coast finishing at Lowestoft.
